CHANGING MY DISTANCE
Participants can transfer to a lesser distance, subject to availability.
Distance upgrades are not permitted.
- To transfer distance, please email [email protected] or complete the online enquiry form (link below) with your transfer request.
- All distance changes must be made by midnight Monday 5th October, 2026.
- No refunds are provided for distance downgrades.
TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER RUNNER
As per our terms & conditions, transferring your registration to another runner is not possible. Alternatively, you can defer your entry if you are unable to attend, or request a refund if Refund Protection was purchased at time of entry.
DEFERRING MY ENTRY
If you are unable to participate in the 2026 Fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival, you may defer your entry to the 2027 Fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival, subject to a $20 deferral fee.

Deferrals are available until midnight Friday 25 September 2026.

Each entry may be deferred once only. Entries that have previously been deferred from the 2025 event are not eligible for a further deferral.

To defer your entry, simply click the link below and pay the $20 deferral fee.

Once your deferral has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your transfer to the 2027 Fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival.

REFUND INSURANCE
At time of entry, participants have the option of taking out Race Roster’s Registration Refund Protection to protect their purchase in the case that they cannot attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

JOINING A TEAM
Participants are able to join a team before, during or after registering.
- During the registration process participants will be provided with the opportunity to join an existing team, or create a new team.

GETTING YOUR BIB
Participants who did not opt to have their race bib mailed to them must collect it during the following times.

Please note, there is strictly no collection of race packs on Sunday 11 October. Complimentary merchandise will however remain available for collection on Sunday 11 October from 6:30am – 10:30am.
Race bib postal service was available until midnight Sunday August 30, 2026.
I PAID FOR POSTAGE, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BIB?
If you purchased bib postage you will receive your bib in the mail between Monday 21 September and Monday 5 October 2026.
If you have not received your bib by Thursday 8 October 2026 please come to see us at the Information Desk (within the registration marquee) during bib collection times for a replacement.
After Sunday 30 August 2026 we cannot change the address you entered as the mailing address for your Race Bib. Please ensure you have mail redirection in place if you move address.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY COMPLIMENTARY MERCH?
Please ensure you collect your complimentary performance shirt, or Fractel R-Series Cap from the race precinct during the following times:

Participants collecting their bibs will be given their complimentary merchandise at the same time. If you opted to have your bib posted, simply visit the merchandise collection area during the above times to collect yours – providing your name or bib number.
HOW DO I PERSONALISE MY BIB?
During the entry process, participants will be asked to nominate the name they’d like printed on their bib. If no name is provided, your first name will be used by default.
If you wish to update your bib personalisation, this can be done at any time via your entry dashboard.

CAN I RUN WITH A PRAM?
Prams are not permitted in the event, and running with dogs is also prohibited. Due to the shared nature of some sections of the course, particularly within the 5km event along the Oceanway, these restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of all participants and members of the public.

CAN I RACE IN A WHEELCHAIR?
While we hope to introduce a race wheelchair category in the future, the nature of our current courses means that wheelchairs of any type are not permitted at this time.

CAN I RUN WITH HEADPHONES?
We strongly discourage the use of noise cancelling headphones during participation in the event, in the interest of participant safety.
If you choose to wear headphones, please ensure the volume is low enough to hear instructions from course marshals.
CAN I CHANGE MY WAVE START?
You can update your Wave Start via your entry dashboard.
If you would like to start with a friend in a different Wave Start, please do so in the ‘slower’ paced Wave Start.
WILL THERE BE PACERS?
Marathon Tours Pacers will be available in the 50km, Half Marathon and Fractel 10km events.
If you have a certain goal in mind, the Marathon Tours Pacers will help you get there, by pacing you through your distance at a consistent speed.
COMPANION/GUIDE RUNNERS
Complimentary registrations are available for Companions and Guide Runners of participants with disabilities. To request a complimentary Companion Entry please email [email protected], attaching a copy of your companion card. You will then be provided with a unique link to register with.
Please note, Companion Entries do not receive complimentary merchandise inclusions.
ARE THE RACES AIMS CERTIFIED?
The 50km, Half Marathon and 10km courses are all AIMS certified.
IS THERE A BAG DROP?
To ensure the safety of your gear during the event BSafe Lockers will be on hand to secure your items. The locker marquee will have an attendant, who will hold on to your key so that you have access throughout the day. You can pre-purchase your locker via the Event Store here.
