HALL OF FAME

 

The fisiocrem GC50 Run Festival was established in 1997 and celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the event in 2021. In recognition of completing the 50km distance on 10 occasions throughout this period, participants are inducted to the Hall of Fame to recognise their achievement and continued support of the event.

Inductees to the Hall of Fame qualify to receive a race number for life which they can proudly wear to every event and also receive a Hall of Fame induction presentation following their achievement.

GEOFF WILLIAMS

Geoff Williams was the first inductee into the Hall of Fame and has completed every 'GC50' to date (28). Geoff wears race number #1.

GEOFF LAST

Geoff Last has completed 27 races and wears race bib number 2 for life.

PETER MCKENZIE

Peter McKenzie has completed 26 races to date and wears race bib number #3.

KELVIN MARSHALL

Kelvin has completed 22 races to date and also won the event on three occasions (1999, 2001 & 2008). Kelvin wears race bib number #4 for life.

MARK BARRETT

Mark Barrett has completed 15 races to date and wears race number #5 for life.

ROB GRIFFITHS

Rob Griffiths has completed 10 races to date and wears race bib number #6 for life.

HARRY DAVIS

Harry Davis has completed 10 races to date and wears race number #7 for life. Harry was the winner of the first event 'Kurrawa to Duranbah' back in 1997. Harry's wife Marylin winning the female division that year also.

CRAIG HOOPER

Craig Hooper completed his 10th GC50 in 2019 and was awarded with race number #8 for life. Craig has completed 13 GC50's to date.

BRIAN EVANS

Brian Evans was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019 after completing his 10th race. Brian wears race number #9 for life and has completed 11 races to date.

BOB WELLS

Bob Wells was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2020 after completing his 10th GC50. Bob wears race bib number #10 for life and has now completed 13 GC50's to date.

KAREN WIERSMA

Karen Wiersma became the first female inducted into the Hall of Fame after completing 10 GC50 events in 2022. Karen will wear race number 11 for life - and has completed 12 GC50's.

GRAEME KIRKPATRICK

Graeme was inducted into the Hall of Fame after completing his tenth GC50 in 2022. Graeme wears race number 12 for life and has completed 12 races to date.

CAROLINE BROUSSEAU

Caroline joins the Hall of Fame after completing her tenth GC50 in 2023. Caroline will hold race number 13 for life and has completed 11 races to date.

PETER BENNETT

Peter joins the Hall of Fame after completing his tenth GC50 in 2023. Peter will hold race number 14 for life and has completed 11 races to date.

RICKY JONES

Ricky joins the Hall of Fame after completing his tenth GC50 in 2024. Ricky will hold race number 15 for life.

KE WANG

Ke joins the Hall of Fame after completing her tenth GC50 in 2024. Ke will hold race number 16 for life.
