Where to stay?
The home of the GC50. By staying in Broadbeach you will find yourself well situated for the start & finish of the GC50 Run Festival. Broadbeach, south of Surfers Paradise offers a vast array of accomodation options, cafes, restaurants, retailers and offers a friendly beachfront. Whilst Broadbeach offers energy and atmosphere, you’ll find it more relaxed than neighbouring Surfers Paradise offering you the chance to relax before and after your run.
Burleigh Heads, or Burleigh as the locals would say will offer you a picturesque and smaller beach town vibe than that of neighbours Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. Unspoilt by larger high rise blocks like its neighbours, you would be well placed here if you are looking to stay away from the bright lights & enjoy the delights of a typical beach town. Enjoy a picnic on Burleigh Heads Hill or take a walk through the national park trails on your doorstep. Oh Burleigh, you beauty!
Energetic & Electric! With ample accomodation options, restaurants, cafes and entertainment Surfers Paradise will tick your boxes if you like busy! Busy beaches, busy restaurants and more nightlife on offer than probably required before a running event. Situated a short 5-10 minute drive from the event venue (North of Broadbeach), the bustling foreshore is ideal for those travelling with kids looking for entertainment!
